Summer 2019 is here!
We know how kids are super excited to spend time doing things they want before the school starts again in June, but as a parent we know that we want that time to be used by our kids efficiently.
Summer classes holds a promise – it is a parent’s tool to discover where his/her child’s interest lie and how it can hone and nurture further. Of course, the value of these classes go beyond building talent and life skills, as it also develops discipline and builds character and emotional intelligence and a way also for them to build up valuable academic qualifications.
Summer classes serves a multitude of purposes for different students, they are sometimes used to bridge the gap between different phases of academic study or to provide additional professional training and qualifications.
So, let your kids explore and learn new things by enrolling him/her in one of the summer classes every summer.
Here are 12 summer class ideas that might interest you and your child, that might be beneficial for them in the future.
1. Learn the Mandarin Language – Mandarin is spoken in countries such as Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Philippines and Mongolia, so if you do business in these countries then it would be beneficial to converse in their language. Let’s start them young!
2. Learn Essay Writing and Creative Writing – Let the children learn about basic elements of poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction using elements of writing, that would be beneficial once they are in a corporate world.
3. Attend A Cooking Workshop – Let the children experience cooking and baking. This will help them start young in the kitchen, we all know how important food is.
4. Attend IQ Builders Summer Program – This summer program aims to help increase a child’s IQ through a five-subject class for each group. The subjects will help the children learn writing skills, creative writing, penmanship, vocabulary building, comprehension, logic and critical thinking with creativity.

11. Learn how to Sew – Let the kids learn how to sew using a machine. Sewing techniques and stitches are fun to do and something everyone should know how, because at some point we need to sew something.
12. Attend a Fitness Program – There is a program specially designed for kids and teenagers to help them develop a lifelong love for fitness. Through this program, they aim to prepare the children to be well-rounded athletes, to become stronger and better in their chosen sport.
