Think Before You Speak: Honoring God Even When You’re Angry
Everyone gets angry sometimes—even children and adults. But as Christians, God teaches us to choose our words carefully, especially when emotions are strong.
Before speaking, try asking yourself:
❤️ Will my words help or hurt?
❤️ Would Jesus be happy with what I’m about to say?
❤️ Can I speak calmly instead?
The Bible reminds us in James 1:19:
“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”
A calm heart and kind words can solve many problems. Choosing gentle words doesn’t make us weak—it shows strength, wisdom, and God’s love.
