Empower the Body, Consecrate the Mind, Elevate the Spirit
Celebrating a milestone in the history of Pasig Green Pasture Christian School
July 9, 2016 marked a new chapter in Pasig Green Pasture Christian School's history as it celebrated the inauguration of its new school gym through an event with the theme, "Empower the Body, Consecrate the Mind, Elevate the Spirit".
In his opening remarks, Charles Tiu, School President, addressed the students, parents and teachers in attendance saying that the gym construction project is a testament to the school's commitment to provide its students with a well rounded education that extends beyond pure academics. Guest speaker, BJ Manalo, former UAAP basketball player, expounded on this concept by sharing four key principles - #1 Passing is more important than shooting. #2 Teamwork is capable of producing more results. #3 Effort is more important than winning. #4 You cannot stand on a basketball.
Following the opening speeches, event attendees participated in various athletic activities like zumba, volleyball, basketball and tug of war. Photos from the event are now posted on the school's official Facebook page.
Thank you for your continued support for our mission!
